Following feedback from parents who have attended my workshops, these workshops now take place over 3 months. This will allow parents time to try out new approaches with their pre-teens/teenagers at home and come back to the group so they can reflect on what they have learnt, get new ideas as well as mutual support from other parents.
The workshops are ideal for parents, grandparents or carers of pre-teens and teenagers (i.e. 10-17 years).
The 3 workshops are evidence based, using the latest Psychology research and focus on giving parents practical suggestions for tackling teenage challenges and will cover:
5 February workshop 7pm - 9pm
Understanding why teenagers behave the way they do – insights into the development of the teenage brain!
Understanding why you parent the way you do
How you can build a more positive relationship with your teenager, including improving communications!
