About this event
- Event lasts 3 hours
There has been much discussion recently around the obligations of doctors and other healthcare professionals relating to safe delegation of care in evolving multidisciplinary teams. This can be compounded when new roles are introduced and scope of practice is expected to evolve based on close supervision and experience.
Via a combination of presentation and group discussion the following aspects of building safe practice into delegation will be included:
- An understanding of the range of types of delegation
- An understanding of good practice and key management competencies relevant to safe and effective delegation
- A review of regulatory guidance and professional responsibilities in relation to: clinical and non-clinical delegation / professional accountability and responsibility
- The importance of risk management, feedback and evaluation across the delegation process.
This course is led by Liz Price, Head of Training, CPD and Risk Advisory Services
This course has been accredited by The Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK for 3 CPD credits.

The page includes the option to join a ‘test meeting’ from the device you intend to use. https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362193-Joining-a-meeting
