About this event

Leadership and the development of future and existing leaders are priorities for any organisation. But enduring myths about what makes for good leadership, combined with a lot of poor practice in leadership development, leave the space mudied and full of myths and misunderstandings.

The experienced and accredited workplace psychologists at WorkLifePsych have launched a camapign to improve the quality of leadership development bust the myths that confuse the leadership conversation. We call it 'Sustainable Leadership'.

In this fifth webinar in the series, Dr. Richard MacKinnon and Dr. Wayne Mullen will address the importance of self-awareness when it comes to leaders' wellbeing, performance and impact on those they lead. They'll share:

  • What self-awareness is for the contemporary leader
  • How a lack of self-awareness impacts the leader, their reports and the organisation
  • The contribution leadership coaching can make
  • The role of seeking and acting on feedback
  • How to address blind spots and an overly rigid self-concept in leaders
