Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre (IBioIC)

We need to reduce our dependency on petrochemicals, which are the feedstock for many everyday products as well as energy. Industrial biotechnology offers a route towards more sustainable manufacturing of products from consumer goods, textiles, food and feed, and medicines. Join us and hear about industrial biotechnology in action.

Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre (DHI)

Digital technology is transforming health and social care delivery and impacting the workforce. DHI collaborates with academia, health and social care sectors, and the digital health and care industry to identify and meet the current and future workforce skills needs. Join our workshop session to explore trends impacting digital transformation of health and social care delivery and what this means for the education sector.

Built Environment – Smarter Transformation (BE-ST)

This interactive workshop aims to demystify AI, breaking down what it really means in simple, accessible terms. We’ll explore how AI is currently being used across different sectors and discuss practical ways you can start using it in your own work or projects.

The Data Lab (TDL)

In this interactive workshop, participants will engage in a practical exercise applying personas for the identification of AI and data skill gaps. We will explore how to translate these insights into actionable and targeted upskilling plans, enabling organisations to effectively mitigate talent shortages and accelerate data-driven initiatives.
