6.David Jones - President, The Institute of Construction Management
David is a chartered surveyor, inventor, and leading authority in construction health and safety, with over five decades of international experience. A Fellow of multiple professional institutes, he has managed major civil engineering projects worldwide, including stadiums, dams, and harbours. David pioneered UK health & safety training, authored award-winning online programs, and led strategic initiatives in sustainability, including work for the Carbon Trust. He holds a GB patent for the Gravity Opening Smoke Vent system and has designed fire-safe cladding for social housing. David has served on executive boards, launched national competence registries, awarded a Health & safety Champion by the HSE in 2008 and was named Construction Manager of the Year in 2019.
