Building Young People's Resilience to Prejudice and Hate

We are living in turbulent times, and young people need safe spaces to be able to talk about controversial issues, develop their critical thinking skills and hear counter narratives to compensate for misinformation, disinformation and prejudice that they may be encountering outside school .

The Webinar will:

  • Explore some of the contemporary issues young people are navigating and why it is important to open up conversations about controversial issues with young people
  • Impart techniques to support educators to conduct effective conversations with young people about controversial issues
  • Provide approaches to support educators to challenge prejudice, stereotypes and misinformation to create positive change

Content will be designed around your questions and concerns, which you can submit in advance once registered.

The main webinar will be 45 minutes long, with a chance for further questions afterward.
