Our popular annual Bootcamp on business development for coaches is back! Delivered by Stephen Newton, who runs his own successful business, DLO Development, this event is aimed specifically at coaches looking to grow their own coaching practice, whether at start-up stage or in the early years. Its objective is to put you ahead of the curve by helping you tackle two critical challenges:
- Few coaches make significant amounts of money
- Most coaches starting out as independents take up to two years to gain traction
You may never have run your own business before and you may dislike the idea of ‘selling’. Yet to make your coaching practice pay, you need to get to grips with the fundamentals of the business side as well as the coaching side. With a focus on proven approaches to marketing, positioning and selling as an independent coach, this bootcamp will help you leap over the barriers that may stand in the way of your business growth and success. It also covers essential operational aspects such as fee setting, time allocation, effective meetings and client relationship management, plus the nitty gritty on the use of technology and social media.
Stephen Newton is an early Meyler Campbell graduate (2003) and has run his own business since 2001. Working initially with senior executives in large firms in banking, the law and professional services on strategy implementation, leadership and business development, an increasing proportion of his work now centres on client acquisition and retention for fee earners in professional services firms and, increasingly, owners of SMEs. Stephen has written four books on the topic of business development, including the invaluable Success as a Coach: Start and build a successful coaching practice.
If you’re looking to grow your coaching business, can you afford not to invest in this programme?
