The fourth of our 2022 CEP sessions focuses how your CEP can set out a powerful and engaging argument for investment.
About this event
An effective case for support underpins successful fundraising, making a powerful and engaging argument as to why someone should invest in your work. Developing a case for support in any context requires some level of stakeholder engagement. But when developing a case for support for a partnership, this aspect is particularly vital.
This workshop will help you to reflect on your CEP’s readiness to make a convincing case for new investment and it will provide you with essential tools to do so. You will hear from MAKE Milton Keynes CEP about their programme of work to develop their fundraising capabilities and will be guided through the process of building your Case for Support. Group activities will provide the opportunity to network with and learn from other South East CEPs who are also on this journey.
By taking part in this session you can:
- Benchmark your CEP’s readiness to fundraise collaboratively against good practice approaches
- Find out how MAKE Milton Keynes CEP have built their approach to fundraising as a partnership
- Learn the key elements of a compelling Case for Support for your CEP
- Work on the development of your CEP's Case for Support
- Network and learn from other South East CEPs
- Find out more about how Artswork can support you in the continued development of your CEP
Before the workshop, a small amount of pre-work will introduce key concepts in collaborative fundraising and you will complete an online quiz to benchmark your CEP’s readiness to build a shared Case for Support.
This event is for members of South East Cultural Education Partnerships only. Each CEP is entitled to four tickets. Please select the ticket type relevant to your CEP when signing up. Artswork reserves the right to cancel ineligible bookings.
