BULGARIAN ARTISAN WINE TASTING
Thu 23 March 2017, 19:00 – 22:00 GMT
THE NEW BULGARIA: 3rd ANNUAL TRADE TASTING IN LONDON
EXCLUSIVE PRIVATE WINE TASTING Thursday 23 March 2017, 7:000m - 9:00pm
Following the successful editions of 2015 and 2016, the Bulgarian Association of Independent Winegrowers will be again in London to showcase their wines.
Some of BAIW members are already present on the UK market. Some are new and will show for the first time their wines. It is a good occasion to try some artisan and exciting new wines, which will complement the rich and diverse wine scene in the UK.
We are excited to invite you to a private tasting in the new Vagabond Victoria branch. The Team behind Vagabond has been very generous hosting this tasting for selected friends and extended Vagabond family to celebrate their new opening & our long standing partnership!
This is the largest site they’ve taken on and it looks amazing! 140 wine dispensing taps and a 'spanking' new food menu to enjoy. And we are the very fortunate few to view it in their soft start on the 20th of March.

Bulgaria was certainly one of the success stories of winemaking behind the Iron Curtain, especially for its cheap (but very cheerful) Cabernet Sauvignon that was snapped up by bargain-hunting Brits. After a period in the wilderness that saw the industry of this southeastern European country fall into sharp decline in the 90s, a group of exciting wineries are now producing wines that put all previous achievements into the shade and, quite simply, demand a wider audience.
