Krissie Stiles qualified as a nurse in 2003 and quickly began speciailising in burns management. As a burns and plastic surgery specialty nurse, Krissie has gained extensive experience at a specialist regional burns centre and has multiple awards for her work in the specialty.
As well as her clinical roles, Krissie is an executive committee member of the British Burn Association (BBA), Chair for the BBA Pre-Hospital Special Interest Group, is the Lead Nurse for the London and South East England Burn Network and works as the Burn Care Advisor for the Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Krissie has kindly agreed to come and spend the afternoon talking all things burns, from the physiology and types of burns, to current best practice in management and resuscitation of burns patients.
