Burn's Night Cook-along!
Event Information
About this Event
Join Thalia from GUEST and Ally Lloyd from The LUNA Project as they make Ally's famous haggis nachos and chat about the accessibility of sustainability. The LUNA Project raises awareness about young people living with chronic health conditions. Visit their website to find out more: www.thelunaproject.org.uk/
Whether you're a consistent Burns Night fan or new to the tradition, this is the perfect cookalong for you if you're interested in cooking a tasty sustainable meal and hearing about accessible sustainable eating. If you're having a Burns meal on the 25th, this is the perfect use for any haggis leftovers. If eating haggis seems like the furthest thing from your desires, this is the perfect recipe to ease you in!
This event is open to all cooking and ability levels, and the level of preparation is customisable. The recipe details and ingredients will be posted to this event page soon, so click 'Interested' to stay updated! We'll be making most elements of the recipe from scratch, but everything can be bought premade if that suits you more. Feel free to tune in and listen to our chat while making your own version of the recipe - whatever works for you!
Email Thalia.Groucott@glasgow.ac.uk if you have any questions.
