Burty's Boutique Big Cat CPD Day at The Big Cat Sanctuary

Join us for THE feline CPD summer event of the year!

We are SO excited to be collaborating with The Big Cat Sanctuary- their work is truly amazing- they have consistently assisted and cared for Big Cats from around the world, most recently relocating Lions from war torn Ukraine to live in their Sanctuary in Smarden.

The Big Cat Sanctuary is a unique place, and we feel so lucky to be able to join them for our CPD Day, The Big Cat Sanctuary is unlike other's, it is not open to members of the public- so we are honored to able to host this event.

We will be offering all our usual fun of a Burty's Boutique CPD Day including: Welcome goody bags, amazing sponsors, free and easy parking on site, access to our Burty's Boutique shop and the Big Cat Sanctuary will be offered raffle tickets for sale, with all proceeds going back into the Sanctuary- the lucky winner will have the amazing experience of hand feeding one of their Big Cats! You will also have time to explore the Sanctuary after lunch and say hello to all the resident big cats.

We do of course, have an awesome line up of CPD sessions!

Together we will discuss:

• Managing hypothermia in our feline patients
• Creating a cat friendly clinic
• Feline airways
• Myths and misconceptions in feline anaesthesia/analgesia
• Feline dental issues
• Fractious cat cocktails

PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT IS FOR VETERINARY PROFESSIONALS ONLY- only those registered and with a ticket will be granted access, anyone arriving without a ticket will be declined at the door. Unfortunately we cannot invite family/friends/children/pets to this epic event- you'll have to take pictures and make them jealous!

Burty's Boutique and The Big Cat Sanctuary cannot and will not be held responsible should you obtain an injury during the CPD day on site.

Please note that by signing up for this event, we will use the email used to book, to keep you up to date about future events, if you do not wish for this to occur, please let us know.

We will have an in house photographer and videographer on site for this event, your image may be used on socials/advertising in the future.

Cancellation policy:

No refunds.

If for any extreme circumstances- Burty's Boutique or the Big Cat Sanctuary has to cancel the event, the option will be given to EITHER join us at our next event/new date for this event OR a full refund for the ticket price and booking fee. The delegate can decide which option is most suitable for them.

Please note, in the case of Burty's Boutique cancelling/postponing the event- we will not be responsible for any travel/accommodation/day off financial loss. Purchasing a ticket equates to your agreement of this cancellation policy.
