Creative Businesses in and around Bury are invited to a meetup to discuss international working, trade and investment overseas.
Speakers from the Department for International Trade, Curated Place and Bury Art Museum will be sharing advice and tips for creative companies who are interested in trade and investment and international working.
The event is on Thursday 20 October 6-8pm at Bury Art Museum and brings together all businesses working in the creative sector from digital marketing agencies to architects to hear from those who will be sharing their expert tips and guidance on international working, trade and investment. Refreshments will be provided.
This event is tailored towards creative companies working in Bury and around the North West, however organisations working outside the creative industry or outside the area are more than welcome to come and take part if they feel it would be beneficial to them or their organisation.

Penny Wang-Orme graduated from Beijing Institute of Business and is a member of the Institute of Export. Penny was the first China Trade Manager for Manchester Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Penny is specialising in China trade and has worked across a range of sectors including aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, food and drink and home products for the past 20 years. Penny works as International Trade Advisor for the Department for International Trade and she looks after the China, Japan and South Korea markets.

Andy will speak about the company focus on developing the cultural economy and maximizing the impact of creative practice, collaboration in fundraising, production and delivery, and using technologies beyond the screen to create place from space, working inside and outside the gallery.
