Business Acceleration Masterclass for Translators & Interpreters
Event Information
Description
For experienced translators and interpreters who are seriously interested in moving their translation practice up a gear, join Chris Durban for her Business Acceleration Masterclass on Sunday, April 29.
This masterclass, immediately after NETA's annual conference, is not for beginners, part-timers, dabblers or ditherers.
It targets professionals with at least eight years’ experience—enough to know that translation is for them. Who are passionate about their work—or who, facing price and other pressures, would dearly like to rekindle that passion. Who are at a stage in their practice and life where they want to raise the ante, and who are prepared to invest serious time and energy to position themselves in market segments offering greater intellectual satisfaction and significantly higher financial rewards.
Content includes but is not limited to specialization, marketing and pricing. Refreshments and lunch are included.
The masterclass will be held at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education, located in two historic buildings on Brattle Street—the William Brattle House (1727) and the Blacksmith House (1808)—just steps away from the Harvard Square T station, bus lines, and parking garages. This unique venue is a short ride via bus or subway from Logan International Airport and downtown Boston.
