Aimed at directors, senior managers (including from the HR, procurement, and in-house legal departments), this interactive course will bring participants rapidly up to speed on: • the key mandatory reporting landscape • how voluntary reporting frameworks on business and human rights can complement the legal requirements of disclosures involving human rights; • the moral and business imperatives for managing human rights risk, including in the supply chain

After attending this course, participants will:

  • be familiar with key and emerging legal compliance frameworks on human rights reporting

  • understand the moral, commercial, and legal imperatives for identifying and managing human rights impacts and risks;

  • be familiar with voluntary reporting frameworks such as the recommendations of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, as well as other relevant standards;

  • understand the current and emerging human rights issues in relation to reporting

  • understand how to identify, investigate, track and measure; human rights risks and impacts and create relevant KPIs

  • address how to create indicators for reporting under the Modern Slavery Act
