Event description

Description

Hear how businesses across the South West are successfully helping to break the cycle of crime through support of Key4Life’s prison and preventative programmes.

Employer concern still remains one of the most significant barriers to ex-offenders in finding work, with half of UK companies saying they would not consider employing an ex-offender.

Hear from Chief Constable Andy Marsh and Chief Superintendent Ian Wylie, District Commander for Somerset and Head of Neighbourhood and Partnerships, on the crucial role corporate engagement and job opportunities can play, alongside Eva Hamilton MBE, Key4Life’s Founder and CEO, about the charity’s award-winning programme and how your business can play an integral role in the positive transition of young offenders. The charity will announce a new Bristol programme specifically targeting gang culture, supported by Avon and Somerset Police.

Meet previous Key4Life participants and hear how innovative solutions to break the cycle of reoffending has worked for them in gaining employment and work experiences places.
