Highlight: How to improve how it feels to work in your company right now
Part 1 of the breakfast meet will hear from Helen Jones, Head of Staff Development at the University of Central Lancashire. Helen will share a strategy of tackling the causes of stress/anxieties and creating environments where people feel comfortable about owning their own health and wellbeing, in the knowledge they will be supported.
• Increase trust
• Understanding people as individuals and accommodating their needs
• Creating a feeling of belonging
• Remove the hassle
You will have the opportunity to hear from other SMEs on how they foster their own environments and a chance to reflect on your own workplace and what you might do differently.
Part 2 of the breakfast will hear from Laurie Smith, Programme Director of Lancashire Forum Creative. ’Time is money’, that’s the old saying, and, like many clichés it is based in reality. When running a business with a small team or just on your own, how time is spent has a huge impact on productivity, efficiency and, ultimately, profitability. Are you and your team spending time on the right things? Could someone else do it better? This interactive session will help you take steps towards having the right people doing the right thing at the right time.”
Part 3 will see Centre for SME Development Manager, Alison Hitchen share practical tips on ‘getting the most from remote working’, help for managing remote teams.
Lastly there will be time set aside to hear from you, our members (not a member? Join here it's free) with our regular 60-second pitch!
The breakfast will again be held on Microsoft Teams.
