Speakers
Will Clement,
Organisational Development and Learning and Development Lead, NHS Hull Clinical Commissioning Group. Will is currently the Organisational Development Lead for the NHS Humber Clinical Commissioning Groups. Will has worked in commercial and public sectors gaining a variety of experience in a range of senior roles. Will is used to working in highly complex organisations embedding strategic change while supporting all levels of organisation. A Level 7 trained coach and coach supervisor, Will supports both teams and individuals in support of their goals. Will has led and supported change and transformation in the NHS, The AA, Royal Mail and universities. Owner of Will Clement Consulting, Will also provides coaching and leadership support to a variety of clients.
Steve Dixon, Director, Cognosco Marketing After a lifelong career in the Food Industry in a variety roles and businesses, Steve wants to help aspiring entrepreneurs and senior managers as individuals to develop and finely tune their ideas, skills & attributes from being dreams and ideas and make them become reality. Steve takes a view that everyone has something positive to offer in either a big organisation or an emerging business. With the right guidance and coaching, Steve wants to help individuals turn ideas to reality with a minimal amount of fuss. No guarantees of success - but just help an individual on their way!
Dr Nicholas SnowdenSenior Lecturer, Organisational Behaviour Human Resource Management (OBHRM)Dr Nicholas Snowden has over 25 years of experience as a senior lecturer, management trainer, and business consultant. Having started working life as an entrepreneur, he progressed to sharing his time between his business interests and education, teaching in several local Universities and Colleges, and in a range of contexts. He has worked with a wide range of organisations in the public and private sector, providing leadership and management development for senior leaders across the region. His research interests are in the fields of organisational storytelling, solving ‘wicked’ problems, and whistleblowing in healthcare.
Intro by Richard KeeganDirector of Business Engagement, University of HullThe event will be opened and introduced by our Director of Business Engagement, Richard Keegan, who will be updating delegates on current and upcoming activity within the Business School.Richard is an innovative and enterprising senior manager with over 20 years' experience of working in the Higher Education sector, in research and innovation-focused roles. He has managed and grown major strategic partnerships between universities, businesses, funding bodies and government. Richard leads the Faculty of Business, Law and Politics' engagement with its corporate partners, ensuring that the faculty and wider university maximizes the value and impact of its business engagement and enterprise activities. His area of work involves liaising closely with stakeholders in the private, public and community sectors, exploring and building mutually beneficial partnerships.
