Structured 30-minute executive fellowship conference call

About this event

Recognition PR and Square One Law have been working together in this period of national emergency to help maintain contact between business leaders through virtual peer-to-peer meetings.

It can be lonely at the top, if you lead an organisation it helps to know the issues others are facing and to share solutions. Working from home and having normal networks disrupted does not help; sometimes the shared wisdom of friends and colleagues can.

Our Executive Fellowship Meetings are very simple, chaired by Graham Robb, each participant is asked to tell everyone what their organisation does and is then asked about the biggest issue they have faced this week is (not a long list, just the one issue). The result is that a pattern is quickly identified. We also have a decision maker, such as a politician, on the call so that they can hear what is said and feed it back quickly to Government. Ian Gilthorpe sums up the key points in the business environment and at the end of the call many participants feel they are better informed.

The calls are approximately 30-minutes and we're inviting anybody who runs a business or organisation to take part. The calls are popular, with around 18 people selected by lucky dip to come on each week. They are generally oversubscribed.

You must agree that the contents of the call are PRIVATE, people can be more forthcoming in the spirit of fellowship in the knowledge that they are speaking in confidence.

Apply via this page.

On our next call we will be joined by The Rt Hon Lord Bates, Deputy Chairman of the House of Lords. Lord Bates has previously been a Treasury Minister and was Minister of State at the Department for International Development between October 2016 and July 2019. He was previously a Minister of State at the Home Office from May 2015 until March 2016.

The call will commence at 11.am prompt on Wednesday 24th March 2021

There will be no agenda, and you can raise whatever you want and listen to the experiences and ideas of others in the group.

In the event that the meeting is oversubscribed, we will make the final selection by drawing names.

We look forward to speaking to you on the calls.

Stay safe and stay positive
