This event features two main sessions – please book tickets for all those you wish to attend. There will be time for networking before and after each session.

10.30 – 12.00: Business Funding Solutions
Getting funding for your start-up or SME can be stressful. Where’s the best place to go? What lenders are out there? What other funding options are available? What do I do if I’m turned down?
Find out what to do in this free workshop with Anthony Harrison from Let's Do Business.
In this session, Anthony will:
- Talk you through some of the finance options for your start-up or SME
- Advise you on how to pitch to lenders
- Help you with what to do if you are turned down
- Suggest other funding options
There will be time for Q&A at the end.
12:30-14:00: Getting in the funding loop
Getting good advice on grants and funding for your business or start-up is crucial. There are a wide variety of grants available, but it can be difficult to navigate your way to find the support you need that’s right for your business
Join Daniel Kershaw from local entrepreneurs Rubber Ducky Snacks for this free workshop. In this session Daniel will talk about:
- His funding journey, and how grants available influenced his choice of business
- How he applied and secured funding from various organisations including UK Games Fund, Innovate UK
- What to do if you are turned down
- Researching and using resources such as Grants4Norfolk
There will be time for Q&A at the end.
Please note: The views expressed by event participants are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of BIPC Norfolk or the British Business Bank. Always seek independent, professional advice tailored to your individual circumstances.
