Frequently asked questions

What is Open Space

Open Space (OST) is a facilitated, agile method for holding meetings and conferences where a central theme or question is set, participants self organise to create their own agenda from topics they are passionate about and responsible for. This makes it exceptionally powerful and valuable.

What is the Business Improvement Network

The Business Improvement Network is a group of over 1,600 leaders and managers, drawn from hundreds of organisations, interested in improving business and businesses. We have members who are in business improvement, lean, culture, finance, M&A, growth, org development, HR, sales and so forth

Why do we need to improve businesses

Business Improvement, as a wider concept, extends to improving all elements of business from leadership, relationships and sales, to culture, engagement and productivity. Failure to improve and develop businesses can lead to you becoming irrelevant and broke.

What is collective brilliance?

Collective brilliance is the synergistic outcome achieved when diverse individuals connect, collaborate, share knowledge and contribute their unique perspectives to achieve a goal or solve a problem that is far greater than the sum of their individual efforts. No one knows what we know collectively.

How much are tickets?

The Business Improvement Network events are usually £250-300 per person. In this instance The Nici has enabled the price to be reduced to £150 plus VAT per person, including coffee, lunch and tea. The value of connecting, sharing and learning with fellow business leaders can be worth thousands £$£$
