What will be covered in this session

The online workshop will start with the context for change, some basics of circular economy and the reason why it's important for businesses to lead the change. (For more info on what "circular economy" means, check out this webpage and video:

We'll then outline the key factors that help companies to develop successful circular business models. Gerrard from QSA Partners will share case studies from examples where companies have successfully implemented circular change (and some learning from where they haven't!).

The second half will give attendees an opportunity to consider circular models in their own business - either as a customer or as a supply partner. We'll work through some basic steps to get the discussion started and attendees can share ideas, thoughts, opportunities and challenges. We'll be running a live Q&A session

QSA Partners are specialists in circular economy business models. They've worked with companies across a wide range of sectors and have experience from the sharp of waste management (sorting waste at MRFs) to working on ultra-efficient high-tech transportation (hydrogen-powered cars). Gerrard Fisher of QSA has worked on circular economy business models for over 10 years and has great examples of successes (and failures!) to share from his work on circular economy change.

They know the financials need to add up year on year but they also know businesses need to act now to reduce their impact on the planet and this in itself will give you a competitive advantage as more and more people look to use goods or services with an ethical edge. Among their previous clients are companies like Argos, Ikea, Samsung, and most recently, Ted Baker and adidas.
