About this event

Are you looking to grow your business in and around Cheshire?

Come along to this morning networking meeting to connect with local businesses who enjoy supporting each other.

Meetings run from 9.30am until 11.30 am and draw businesses from Knutsford, Middlewich, Northwich, Sandbach, Congleton and lots of other corners of leafy Cheshire. We might even allow Mancunians if they ask us nicely!

Typical attendance is around 15 to 20 people and we're informal but with just enough structure to make sure we're focused on generating business for each other.

We don't go in for league tables, lengthy scripts or unnecessary formality. But we're also much more than a fluffy support group where you come to have a lovely time but don't really see the point!

We meet at Woodside Golf Club in Cranage / Holmes Chapel. We're very easy to find (just off the A50) with plenty of free parking. Tea & coffee is included and there's also a cafe downstairs which is really convenient if you want to stay on for 1-to-1 meetings afterwards or arrange a separate lunch meeting with a client.

Why not book your first visit now and meet some great new business connections?

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to have a big network and be able to make lots of introductions?

No you don't. Referrals take time and quality is definitely better than quantity. We'd expect you to get to know the other members before you'd trust them with your valuable clients so there won't be any pressure to make introductions.

I've never been to a business networking event. Will I fit in?

Yes you will. Our organisers, Dave & Paula are both very experienced networkers but they remember what it was like to be the awkward new kid who didn't know anyone. They always keep an eye out for new visitors and make sure they introduce you to a couple of people who'll make you feel welcome

Is the venue suitable for disabled visitors?

We're very sorry to say that the venue won't be suitable for those unable to climb stairs. We tried really hard to find a venue that was fully accessible but there are limited options in this region, and those that were suitable weren't available at the times we needed them.

Organized by

Northern Lights Networking was founded by 2 local business owners: Paula Cohen of Taylory and Dave Bradburn of Opus Creative Design. We originally met through business networking around 15 years ago. Having seen the benefits of networking (both in terms of building a supportive network of suppliers, collaborators and business friends; and of course generating juicy referrals) we know the value of great connections.

But we also know how disappointing (and how overpriced!) many networking events can be.

That’s why we've created our own!

Our events are relaxed, friendly, and enjoyable; and also unashamedly focused on helping everyone generate real business opportunities.
