I am passionate about the city I was born in, grew up in, and worked in for the majority of my career - Birmingham. I also enjoy walking, making connections and referring people to potential new working relationships and business opportunities too.
All the networking events I organise, ensure that all guests are introduced to everyone in attendance and importantly, get the time to speak with them - unlike a number of other networking events.
This event is suited for business professionals that wish to meet and speak with like-minded business professionals and wish to know more about the city they live and work in whilst networking along the way.
Digbeth is one of the oldest districts of Birmingham. The area is currently under going a programme of regeneration with Peaky Blinder's creator Steven Knight's Digbeth Loc studios now operational, the new home of the BBC's Masterchef series and work is well under way at what will become the BBC's new headquarters.
The route will take in these and other places of interest and I will be pointing out some of the buildings, where organisations and businesses have a presence.
We will meet at Birmingham's Moor Street Station and will walk a pre-determined 'circular' route around Digbeth. There will be plenty of opportunity to network along the way.
Our walk (which lasts for about an hour and fifteen minutes) will end at a local bar where we will have a drink and some food, with a further opportunity to network.
The cost is £18 plus booking fee.
No refunds are available after booking but guests are able to send a colleague or someone else in their place if they find they are unable to attend on the day. Please note, bookings cannot be transferred to a future date. These are conditions of booking.
