UAL’s Fashion, Textiles and Technology Institute (UAL FTTI) invites colleagues from across the University to explore insights from UAL’s Creative R&D Partnership, the Business of Fashion, Textiles, and Technology (UAL BFTT).

Led by UAL (2018-24), BFTT was one of nine UK clusters in receipt of approx.£6m funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).

This event will share cross-industry sector R&D, innovation insights, and impact arising from across the partnership.

Which ticket should I book?

You can book a full day ticket, or just the morning or afternoon session; depending on your interests and availability. All attendees are still welcome to attend the post-event drinks reception and exhibition visit at the British Council, 1 Redman Pl, Stratford Cross, London E20 1JQ from 18:00.

Can anyone attend?

This event is solely for University of the Arts London staff across its 6 colleges and research institutes. Unfortunately, this event is not open to the general public, students, and industry. UAL FTTI will be hosting further events for industry - please follow us on LinkedIn for future events.

Do I need be a researcher to attend?

No, this event is open to all UAL colleagues who are interested in research and knowledge exchange, whatever their stage in the journey. Or who would like to know more about how the BFTT project was delivered and how it could inform their practice.
