We are delighted to announce that Business Peak District's Annual Conference will this year be hosted by Nestlé Waters at their state-of-the-art Buxton factory.
The exciting evening programme includes: a welcome and update from the Chairman of Business Peak District; presentation from Nestlé Waters Buxton Factory Manager; information on the Growing the Visitor Economy project and Inspired by the Peak District Brand from the Deputy Director of Marketing Peak District & Derbyshire and an update on 'What's new on apprenticeships' from the University of Derby's Director of Strategic Projects.
Following the presentations, delegates can choose from a range of 30 minute workshops including:
How to find and win funding for your business
Exporting - Is it for you?
Cost saving ideas for your business
Using the Peak District Environment as a business asset / Investing in low carbon solutions to improve business efficiency and support growth
Advisors from both the D2N2 and Sheffield City Region (SCR) Growth Hubs, Derbyshire Dales Business Advice, SCR Launchpad business start up service and other programmes will also be on hand throughout the evening.
Coffee and registration is from 5.30pm.
The Conference will start at 6pm and be preceded by the Business Peak District AGM at 5.15pm.
An optional 45 minute tour of the new factory, one of Europe's most efficient bottling facilities, commencing at 4.30pm will also be available on a first come first served basis.
Please note, due to limited space both the conference and tour are restricted to one representative per business.
Do I need to book a place at the event?
Yes, as there is only a limited amount of space at the event, we do ask that people pre book their place
What are the parking options at the event?
Visitor parking is available at the front and side of the building.
Can any business attend the event?
Yes, any size or type of business is welcome from the wider Peak District area
Is there a charge?
No, the event is free to attend. However we do ask that you notify us in advance if you book and then are unable to attend as the numbers are limited.
Do I need to book a place on the tour of the factory?
Yes, please book your place on the tour when you register online (limited places)
Can I just book a tour of the works?
No, this is only available to conference delegates.
Can I have a stand at the event?
Unfortunately due to limits on space, only stands for organisations invited by the organisers will be available.
