Description
To qualify for the member rate you must be a member of Support Staffordshire, Staffordshire Council of Voluntary Youth Services or South Staffs Community Voluntary Action. We reserve the right to charge you the full ticket fee if you are not a registered member.
This half day workshop will enable voluntary organisations to plan ahead, agree a strategy and draw up an effective business plan to develop projects and make a case for funding.
The workshop will look at the practicalities for an organisation to take a strategic approach, for instance, to attract funding, broaden out their income base and consider new approaches such as social enterprise.
The workshop will make full use of practical tools and techniques to engage with stakeholders to encourage direction in the decision making processes. It will give real life examples, case studies and useful resources. The workshop is relevant to any local grassroots organisations and is based on real life examples.
Outcomes
At the end of the workshop participants will:
