Business Planning - webinar workshop
Event Information
About this event
Do you need to write a business plan in order to raise finance or access grants? Or to share and agree details of your business idea with partners? Or do you simply want to create a comprehensive plan so you can feel more confident that you have thought everything through and checked that your business ideas are likely to work financially before going ahead? If so, this course will show you how.
What we will cover:
• different types of planning
• goal setting
• the business model canvas
• resources available at BIPC that can assist
• how to complete a formal business plan
• business plan financials
• costing and sales forecasting
• how to do a cashflow forecast
• next steps
After the workshop, we will send you a business plan template that you can use to build your own plan. The workshop is suitable for both pre-start and trading businesses. We will be using a startup business plan template as a guide during the course however it is very easily adapted to be used by a trading business and the process of writing a formal plan is identical regardless of what stage of your business is at. If you are pre-start and are very new to business and/or are not clear on what you will do as a business idea yet, we recommend that you do our introductory Thinking About Business workshop before coming on this one.
