Event description

Description

How did our competitor get hold of this premium renewal list?”

“She’s put WHAT on Twitter?!!”

“I wish our contracts had said …”

“What do you mean: there’s nothing to stop him poaching our key customers?”

Do these phrases and questions sound familiar in your business?

Collingwood Legal is hosting a half day Masterclass on managing business protection in the digital age to help you and your business avoid these type of issues or be better prepared when they crop up.

Paul McGowan (Principal Solicitor) and Alexandra Besnard (Senior Associate Solicitor) will lead an interactive presentation on this topic which will include various practical case studies. This session is designed for business owners, senior managers, HR professionals, in-house lawyers and data protection officers to help spot and manage these situations.

The session will cover key issues such as:

  • Inappropriate use of social media
  • Protecting confidential information
  • Data breaches by employees and how to stop them or deal with them when they occur.
  • Restraint of trade and restrictive covenants.
  • We will cover key updates in the law on this important area including the eagerly awaited decision of the Supreme Court in Tillman v Egon Zehnder Ltd.
