9.20 – 9.30 am             BCI update– Mark Suttle, East of England Forum

9.30 – 10.00 am          Decision fatigue in crisis management – Paul Kudray, Kudray Consulting

Paul is a Fellow of both the EPC and the Institute of Civil Protection and Emergency Management. His presentation will consider today’s challenges for multi-tasking incident managers and use case studies to demonstrate coping strategies.

10.00 – 10.30 am        Is the BC Plan Dead in the digital age? John Frost, Marks & Spencer

John is responsible for Marks & Spencer Group Business Continuity across 22 operational countries. He will cover the transformation of their Business Continuity Programme to a fully paperless Corporate Resilience solution that is adding everyday value to the business and offering tangible savings to the bottom line.

11.00 – 11.30 am         Could your suppliers be the weak link in your BCP? James Drury, Travelex

James focusses on the assurance of suppliers and information at Travelex.  He will discuss what has been done to strengthen due diligence and assurance processes and why this is important for Business Continuity Planning.

11:30 am – Noon         BC Question Time

This slot will be taken up with a range of BC questions put to the panel of experts with discussion opened up to the floor for all delegates to contribute.

Noon onwards              Facility tour, supplier exhibition, networking

1 – 3pm – Optional workshop: Cyber Attacks & Live Hacks

This session includes a demonstration of the vulnerabilities within systems that can lead to your personal and corporate data being accessed and made public. It will provide practical advice and logical methods for maintaining security.
