Description

Welcome to the University of Birmingham Business School

We are proud to say that around half of the international students at the University of Birmingham are studying in the Business School. We love having such a global group of students and to celebrate we are putting on this event to welcome new international students and to provide important information that will be useful during your studies.

Morning session is from 10am-1pm Afternoon session is from 1pm-4pm

We have divided sessions into three categories:

Vital information for studying in the UK - Visa and immigration information, English language support (all international students must attend this)

Academic Expectations - Introduction to the UK grading system, Academic Integrity and tips from Alumni

Making the most out of Birmingham - Introduction to your International Officer, opportunities and information about the local area

There will also be funfair stalls, free food and Business School Merchandise so it will be both useful and fun!

This event is for international and EU students but UK students are of course welcome to join for the fun activities and food!
