About this event

  • 21 days 3 hours

Do you have an idea that could run as a business whilst doing good at the same time? This could be the programme for you.

Our aim is to support people who want to set up Socially Trading Organisations. This means purpose-led organisations that are not reliant upon grants but generate their own income to do more good.

Participants can expect a 121 diagnostic meeting via Zoom followed by a 12-hour training programme to help you:

  • Explore and test your idea
  • Learn business planning techniques and skills to decide if your idea is ready to launch
  • Develop a tailored action plan to help you achieve your ambitions
  • Explore different social business legal structures to find the right one for you

The 12-hours training is split into four weekly workshops which will be held online using Zoom:

Wednesday 4th September: 09.30 - 12.30

Wednesday 11th September: 09.30 - 12.30

Wednesday 18th September: 09.30 - 12.30

Wednesday 25th September: 09.30 - 12.30

This fully funded programme is open to residents in Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland.

If you are in South Tyneside or Sunderland, please explore the alternative 'BOOST programme' being offered in your area.
