Business Writing Basics

This is a small, supportive, and enjoyable workshop for people who want to feel more confident that their business writing is clear, correct, appropriate and gets their message across.
We'll look at ways to sort out the tricky bits of English like apostrophes, when to use a comma or a full stop, and when we tend to use capital letters we don’t need!
We’ll share ideas for effective proofreading, different ways to plan writing, and what the spell checker can and cannot do.
Most importantly, we’ll talk about who you are writing for and what’s the message you’re trying to get across.
This workshop CAN make a difference to your business writing, increasing accuracy and effectiveness and saving you time, effort and frustration.

Following the course last week I have been working through my old blogs and writing new ones with more confidence. I feel that I am writing much quicker using your planning structure. It also makes it so much easier to edit my work as I can quickly spot the sentence formation and punctuation changes I need to make.
