About this event
Retired Head of Entomology at the Natural History Museum, Dick remains , in his 'eighties, a powerhouse of enthusiasm and research. He is currently overseeing a study of lepidoptera on Mount Kilimanjaro, and helping to protect Kent's exceptional butterfly and moth population. East Kent has the best moths in Britain. Honorary advisor to the Swallowtail and Birdwing Butterfly Trust is just one of his many roles. He will give a talk about Iconotypes, A Compendium of Butterflies and Moths. There will be slides, and living moths or butterflies will be in attendance
