Event description

Description

A practical introduction to the world of invertebrates, covering some of our most fascinating creatures such as bees, butterflies and beetles. Learn basic identification skills in order to tell apart different groupings of invertebrates, examine both living and museum-style preserved specimens, and try out various techniques including sweep-netting and pitfall trapping. This event is aimed at adults and isn’t suitable for small children.

Please park in the village and walk along the track to the moorings, and please be mindful of residents when parking. This event is part of the Heritage Lottery Fund supported project A Gem in the Landscape.
