Buxton Coderdojo is for everyone aged 7 to 18 who wants to learn or practice coding and digital making.
You're very welcome if you're completely new to this kind of thing - our friendly helpers will show you how. If you already know how, this is the place to have fun coding and making digital things with others.
We'll cover things like Scratch, Raspberry Pi and LittleBits. You can learn Python or the basics of web design. Don't know what any of this is? No problem, we'll explain all.
Coderdojo is a fun, relaxed way to learn by playing and working together. We help and encourage each other and everyone can work on their own thing at their own pace.
The event is run by volunteers and the organisers have DBS checks for working with young people. Anyone aged 13 or over can stay by themselves, under-13s need a parent or guardian to stay.
All you need to bring is a laptop - or let us know if you need to borrow one.
Paid-for drinks are available, and there's sometimes free cake!
We look forward to seeing you there.
