About this event

Buying AI: Opportunities, Risks and Real-World Applications

ABOUT:

This session will explore the fast-evolving world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in relation to procurement and commissioning. AI has the potential to transform public services—cutting costs, improving quality, and freeing up valuable time for frontline staff. But with the rapid development of AI and a lack of lived experience to learn from, how can commissioning and procurement teams ensure they’re ready to adopt AI solutions responsibly and effectively?

This session will help you navigate the evolving AI landscape with confidence.

Speakers

We’re excited to welcome:

  • Phil Belzar, AI & Automation Commercial Lead at Crown Commercial Service, who will guide us through assessing organisational readiness for AI and understanding return on investment.
  • Annie Radcliffe, Digital Adviser at the LGA, who will share practical advice on responsible AI procurement, including key questions to ask vendors.

Alongside a number of other exciting guest speakers - full agenda coming soon!

Whether you're exploring AI for the first time or already engaging with suppliers, this session offers valuable insights to help you make informed and confident decisions.

We look forward to seeing you there!
