BWH Parent Ed 1st Time Parents - All in One Day Community Course with Tour

This is a 2 Weeks Course for First Time Parents for women either on their own or with a birth partner/companion who live in or near Wychall, Northfield, Bournville, Stirchley, Kings Norton etc.
It will run on the Tuesday 22 August 10am-4pm at Wychall Children and Family Centre (Northfield), Staple Lodge Road, Birmingham B31 3EH. You must attend both sessions. Feel free to bring some lunch, There is also a separate tour of the hospital on Monday 28 August @ 4:20pm.
The Wychall Centre can be accessed by the Number 47 bus and there is free parking on the road. As a Children's centre you will also get the chance to meet other local parents as well as access to Health Visitor clinics, free vitamins. baby groups etc.

We encourage all women booked at the Birmingham Women's to attend our free parent education classes. Please note you MUST be booked at the Women's to attend our classes.
Classes are completely free but must be booked in advance.
We aim to cover the process of labour and birth, stages of labour, when to come in and what to bring, getting labour started and medical induction, managing pain, self help techniques, birth, assisted birth, caesarean birth, lots of practical babycare skills and feeding.
Try to attend your course between 30 and 35 weeks.
