How much will it cost?
We know that it's been tough year for many of the organisations we work with, therefore BYC has been working hard to reduce the cost of all our events to make them as accessible to as many young people as possible. The event is free for all delegates and we are pleased to be able to offer travel bursaries for delegates (see below).
How many young people can attend?
To make this offer as fair and as accessible as possible, we are allowing each group to register a maximum of ten delegates, including workers.
When do I need to register by?
BYC will close registration on Wednesday 20th August 2014 at 23:59, we expect spaces to 'sell out', so be quick. After Wednesday 20th August 2014 should there be any spaces left, we will offer those additional spaces to groups that have already registered.
Is food and drink included?
YES - refreshments will be provided during registration and during the afternoon comfort break, a light lunch will also be provided. We cater for vegetarians as standard; however, if you have any additional dietary requirements, you must let BYC know by Wednesday 20th August 2014.
Can I register spaces now even if I don't know the names of the young people attending?
YES - providing that you provide BYC with the names by Wednesday 20th August .
How much do we get for our travel bursary?
The bursary will be provided for young people and workers, up to a value of £20 per person. This is an average per person, so a group of 5 delegates may claim up to £100, providing they cn provide receipts for 5 journeys up to this value.
How do we get our travel bursary?
In order for you to receive your travel bursary, you MUST provide receipts for travel. We will not be able to reimburse travel expenses without receipts.
Does the travel bursary cover support workers?
Want to run a workshop?
If you are running a particular campaign or workshop that you think would fit within the agenda of the day then please contact Zoe and we are happy to accomate input from attendees.
BYC will be enforcing a strict cancellation policy, any cancellations received after Wednesday 20th August 2014 at or any no-shows on the day will be charged £50 plus any travel bursary that you have received, you will need to read and accept the full cancellation policy during the registration process.
