BYO "Bring Your Own" Sewing Project Workshop
Sat 18 February 2017, 14:00 – 17:00 GMT
This sewing workshop is designed to help people get sewing comfortably with a sewing machine - or whatever the best technique for the project that inspires them.
We want to help you get going - or get over that challenge that is stumping you. For this workshop we invite you to bring your own project for our team to help you achieve that sewing step you want. A selection of projects are also on offer for those of you who want to learn to sew but aren't sure where to start.
We love this approach - which gets people sharing ideas, techniques, challenges and solutions. Alterations, upcycling, toymaking, patchwork, and general sewing are all compeltely welcome. Please join us!
The 'BYO' session is only £30 for three hours of expert knowledge and guidance. You can book for our 'early bird' rates upto 2 weeks prior to the session. Spaces are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. You can also book a class with our wonderful staff team and volunteers in person at the hub, 131 Wood st.
Please note: We do not have adequate capacity to support upholstery in this session, however we can support you in making cushions and other soft furnishings.
