You will learn to experiment with casting using pigmentation, marbling, and finishing techniques, and you'll also learn about the versatility of Jesmonite AC100, a water-based eco-resin widely used to make decorative moulded objects. It is safe to use and contains no harmful chemicals.
In the first half, you will focus on how to pigment Jesmonite with different mixes of colours, and you will explore marbling and free-pouring techniques. In the second half, you'll cast your tealight holder by pouring the material into silicone moulds. The tealight holder will then be sanded, sealed, and finished by me in my studio and posted to you within three working days. If you can stay for a bit longer, we may be able to finish your mini pot at the workshop itself for you to take home. What's included:- All materials, including protective gloves- A glass of fizz per person
