What is C-Card?

"C-Card" refers to a Condom Card, a scheme that provides free condoms and sexual health information to young people (13-25). The C-Card allows young people to access these resources confidentially and easily from various locations like pharmacies, schools, and youth clubs. Promoting safer sex!

Who can join this training?

Anyone who works with young people and have completed Safeguarding Training Group B (level 2).

Do I have to supply condoms?

No! You're more than welcome to join this training to get up to date on young people's sexual health and get access to resources which can help you deliver the RSE curriculum.

What is SHOT?

SHOT is YMCA Cardiff's Healthy Relationship service. We offer taregetted sexual health and relationship support to young people in 121 or group setting on a referral basis. We also run the C-Card scheme across Cardiff and the Vale.

Is there a cost?

The C-Card training and qualification is completely free. We also provide all paperwork, database registration, and condoms completely free of charge. This includes access to up to date RSE resources, leaflets, posters, and online updates. We also offer free lube, STI and pregnancy tests.
