THIS TRAINING IS FREE FOR PROFESSIONALS IN MANCHESTER AND WE WILL VERIFY YOUR LOCATION WITH YOU PRIOR TO THIS EVENT.

This 1.5hr training is the introduction training to the C-Card condom distribution scheme in Manchester . It is compulsory training for all those interested in distributing condoms as part of the scheme in Manchester.

This training is open to organisations and outlets in Manchester (City boundaries) only.

The training aims to enable participants to confidently address sex and relationships, sexual health and emotional wellbeing with young people at a foundational level.

By the end of the training participants will have gained knowledge and understanding of:

• Contraception and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)

• Identifying risk and providing support through appropriate services

• Confidentiality, Fraser Guidelines and safeguarding

• Sexual health and relationships and how these are linked to emotional health and wellbeing

• The law in relation to sex and relationships

• The correct way to do a condom demonstration

• How the C-Card scheme and Therapy Audit C-Card database works and what they can offer the young people they work with

This training course is FREE to professionals working with young people in Manchester.

Attendance at this training is free of charge.
