c‑sé blends raw Hip-Hop, jazz and soul to tell stories straight from the heart of East London. Toeks taps into the healing side, frequencies to move your spirit. Taka brings pure dance energy that let you forget the outside world and just feel good. CSE

‘c-sé’ is a music artist, native to East London.

From extensive experience playing piano in bands, to honing his production and MCing skills over the years, he aims to paint a picture of navigating life as a young working class adult in London, no matter what medium of sound he decides to go through, whether it be rap, or song or instrumental. He cites a varied influence from Kendrick Lamar, to Reek0 to Herbie Hancock, but nevertheless he understands the beauty in variety and creates a universe of sound, unique in its own way but all of the same womb.

TAKA

As a DJ, my mission is to create a bubble where people can escape the world’s troubles, even if it’s just for the length of a set. Whether you're dancing alone or surrounded by friends and family, I want you to let go, boogie, and have a blast.

My sound is rooted in Afro culture, infusing Afro sounds into the dance while introducing new sounds.

This is more than music. It is a movement.

This is the new wave. One love.

TOEK 

Art is the purest form of life force. We are all transmitters for the spirit of art to use. We tap into a state of reception and art notices this and in these moments, chooses us.  I approach my music with this very philosophy. I do not choose what to create; it chooses itself. My job is simply to allow it to manifest into a physical form. In my experience, this is mostly in the form of sound waves. Music is made to heal, and that’s what I do, whether it’s through heartbeat syncing rhythms, or frequencies which resonate with higher vibrational states of being. I am a healer. I bring forth flavours of Hip-Hop in a way not heard for a long time, and I hope you all feel it to your very centre. We’re all one, so come alongside me for a journey into our deepest selves and transform into the beings of light we are for half an hour while I kick the soundz to make ya soul shake!
