This is a CAA approved course leading to you gaining the CAA recognised CDP-C™ Commercial Drone Pilot qualification and a Permission For Commercial Operations (PfCO).
There are four parts which you are required to complete as part of this course:
Online study and reading Course Handbook
Two days of theory training (Ground School)
Creating an Operations Manual which we review, give you feedback and ultimately approve
The practical test which is called the Flight Operations Assessment.
Once you have successfully completed these steps we submit the application for a PfCO to the CAA on your behalf together with our Recommendation.
You are booking here for the entire course, but also to attend the specific scheduled Ground School running on the days you have selected.
PLEASE NOTE: You will not be fully qualified after completion of the 2 days of Ground School. The Ground School covers the theory part of the course and includes the theory examination, but you will still have to create an Operations Manual and have a Flight Operations Assessment before you gain your qualification and a PfCO. The course fee covers all these elements and includes a free resit of the theory examination should you need it.
