Event description

Description

Join the Cambridge Association of Architects for a talk and walking tour of Aura where TateHindle is currently working with Countryside to deliver 647 new homes at Great Kneighton. Creating a new sustainable garden suburb located within Cambridge’s Southern Fringe between Trumpington and Addenbrooke's Hospital, the development includes an innovative guided busway, neighbourhood centre, schools, community hub, Country Park and several pocket parks linked by a series of distinct character areas.

The talk brings the architect, planner and developer together to give an insight into the project, its relationship with placemaking and wider community issues. A 45 minute walking tour of the development will follow the talk and the event will conclude with a Q&A and refreshments.

With speakers from Cambridge City Council, TateHindle and Countryside Properties, the event is kindly supported by RIBA East.
