CAA Yorkshire & North West Regional Meet Up
Event Information
Description
We're delighted to confirm the date of our next Yorkshire and North West Regional Children's Activities Association (CAA) Meet Up:
7th February in Manchester at Nat West Entrpreneurial Hub!
Our meeting is open to all members of the CAA (franchisors, franchisees, independents, partnerships, whoever you are!) as a GREAT opportunity to network, chat to other providers and collaborate, gain advice and support and we'll have a fantastic speaker too (details to be confirmed!)
If you're not currently a CAA member but you deliver activities for children in Yorkshire or the North West, we'd also love to see you there! We all know that running any type of business can be isolating at times and so coming together with other people working in our industry is invaluable. Non members can come along to a first meeting without any obligation to simply meet us all, network and chat, enjoy a coffee and find out more about the CAA and how joining up could benefit your children's activity business.
The meeting will be hosted by Claire O'Connor (CEO, babyballet Ltd.), Jane Maudsley (CEO, Little Voices) and Chris Irwin (EdStart), all of whom are CAA Board members.
The first CAA Yorkshire and North West meeting was held in November and was a huge success so Claire, Chris and Jane look forward to another successful, friendly meeting. They look forward to seeing attendees from the previous meeting as well as welcoming more new faces.
We would love you to help us spread the word to reach as many activity providers as we can so please share the event and invitation through your networks and social channels. Thank you!

What is the CAA?
The CAA was established by some of the leading providers of children’s activities - with the ultimate aim of providing parents with peace of mind and to help raise standards in the children’s activity industry. Activity providers who are members of the Children’s Activities Association have been independently checked to make sure that they have everything in place to keep our little ones safe – that they have the correct safeguarding checks and training, that all of their policies and procedures are in place and that they have first aid provision and insurance in case an accident occurs. This means that if a parents chooses a club or class which is a member of the CAA then they can do so with peace of mind, knowing that those very important safeguards are in place.
Activity providers who are members of the CAA can proudly display a membership badge to show parents, and they can choose to go through an accreditation process to become fully accredited members too!
The number of activity providers joining the CAA is growing each month, and between us we now represent over 2.5 million babies children enjoying safe and fun activities each week!
