Event description

Description

Chelmsford Anglican Bible Conference

at Chelmsford Central Baptist Church

Saturday 13th October 2018 10am - 4pm

We are pleased to announce that this year, we will focus on the book of Micah - a minor prophet with major impact.

As you'd expect from CABC, we will have 4 bite-sized digestible chunks to whet our appetite during the day - and this year, a little bonus something for Christmas too - from Micah 5:2

'But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
though you are small among the clans of Judah,
out of you will come for me
one who will be ruler over Israel,
whose origins are from of old,
from ancient times.'

Find the encouragement of how even a minor prophet can have such a major impact!
Find the hope for the Church going the wrong way.

We are delighted that Charlie Skrine will now unpack this great prophet for us.

"Charlie Skrine is married to Claire and they have two sons at Primary School. He was the Student Worker at St. Helen's, Bishopsgate, London for ten years, and is now the Associate Rector with responsibility for the Sunday morning congregation. In his spare time, he goes kayaking on the sea and recently kayaked on his own from Skye to Inverness round the outside, which takes a lot longer than you'd think."

Refreshments will be provided but please bring your own lunch. There will be time for questions throughout the day as well as opportunities for praise and prayer with sung worship. CDs of the day’s talks will be available to order and a selection of books will be available to buy.

FAQs

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Chelmsford Central Baptist Church is an easy three minute walk from Chelmsford Railway Station and we recommend that you come by public transport where possible as there is very limited parking at the venue.

A ‘Park and Ride’ service runs from both the A12 and A130 to Victoria Road South and there are some multi-story car-parks not far from the venue. The Church has full disabled access but very limited disabled parking.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

Please contact the CABC Committee c/o St. Peter’s Church, Harold Wood on

01708 342080 or enquiries@cabc.org.uk

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You do not have to bring your ticket but it may speed up the registration process if you are able to.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes. Please just let us know who the person attending is replacing.
