Many people just turn up at a networking event with no focus or understanding of how best to get the maximum results from their time.

Guest speaker for September: Ashley Leeds

Do you struggle to create content on LinkedIn because you are worried about getting it wrong? Are you missing out on growing your business because you don't know what to do?

On Tuesday 20 September I'll be joined by the enthusiast and energetic LinkedIn trainer, Ashley Leeds.

He's been training people on LinkedIn since 2019 and now runs his own business helping people to grow on this incredible platform.

Not only is Ashley an expert with LinkedIn, but he's also a qualified coach and works with people to help them gain confidence to grow their own businesses.

When you mix this with his passion for LinkedIn you'll soon be feeling comfortable sharing your own content on LinkedIn and therefore letting people know who you are and getting your own leads coming to you.

By the end of the session, you will

When? Third Tuesday of the month (two weeks after our in-person event in Taunton)

What time? 11 am to 12.30 pm

Where? held via Zoom

How much? it's FREE! (for your first two visits) Then £20 monthly membership. This will also include membership in our new collaboration with Your Partnerships and Networking training events with John.

The Format:

11 am Intro and updates, familiarisation with Zoom, in particular, the mute button.

Your host and founder of CABiz, John Holden, will update you all with CABiz news.

Around the room with your pitch, plans, and positivity - speaker slot - then finish with 3 1:1's

Tip: logon early and familiarise yourself with Zoom to make sure your video/microphone is working

Most people need to know who is in the room and what they do so you can connect with them either during the meeting or after the event. If you don't feel confident doing this just mention it to John who will pass it on to the next attendee.

Tip: "The fortune is in the follow up" If you don't follow up then you won't get results.

We also encourage you to let us know beforehand who you want to network with, types of businesses, or individuals so we can invite them or their business along to the group to help grow your business and the group.

Special Note: People on the Zoom call from the same industry/business are welcome, working together and forming alliances is how networking works. If you have 30 - 40 in the room, it's impossible to network with everyone. So all are welcome as everyone has value.
