Ptah is the father of beginnings, he created the world by thinking with his heart and producing it with his speech. The bringer of the golden age and the new aeon. Architect of the world and patron deity of craftsmen, architects, artists, and artisans and loved by 'the common people'. When we tap into his vision, he can help us to harness the ability to speak things into being and manifest our reality. In this ceremony we will look at what we want call into existence and through the act of 'opening the mouth, Ptah encourages us to speak our truth and reawaken within.

This is an opportunity to connect to the ancient wisdom of Kemet (Egypt). Embarking on a shamanic journey, we will activate the third eye and heart space, allowing us to go deeper and explore the mystery teachings of the blue lotus, beautifully accompanied by the heart opening plant medicine cacao.

ABOUT THE BLUE LOTUS

The blue lotus is a sacred plant bearing significant spiritual symbolism and has been used in ritual and medicine for thousands of years. In ancient Egypt the blue lotus symbolised the ‘origin of life’ and was also associated with rebirth. It was thought that the flowers ability to emerge from the mud through the murky depths of water and spread its petals to the sun was a metaphor for ‘life emerging from the shadows into the light’.

Originating in Ancient Mesoamerica, cacao has found its way to the West and it is often used in ceremony and ritual but also simply as a daily drink due to it's endless health benefits. Cacao is a heart opening medicine that allows us the fully drop into our bodies but also brings people together to create a sense of community.

ABOUT YOUR HOST

Journey to Heka - Stephanie is a shamanic practitioner, cacao + blue lotus facilitator and professional dancer with a deep connection to ancient Egypt. She has been travelling to Egypt for the past 21 years and studies the Egyptian pantheon bringing this to life through monthly sacred cacao + blue lotus ceremonies. She also holds ecstatic dance events across the Bedfordshire area. Stephanie has a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance.
